BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Brescia in 1976 to a Brescian mother and a father originally from Palermo. I'm the last of seven children.
The first clothing shop of my family was set in the garage of our house. It was 1986 and I was just 10 years old. That was the beginning of my apprenticeship in the world of garment sales and management.
The family brand grew over the years: many shops were opened and the brand of Mangano family started to be sold in different boutiques. At the age of 14, I became the brand's Style Manager, a position I occupied till 2000.
Then the time had come for me to embark on a personal and independent path, which led to the birth of the brand "Maurizio Miri" in 2008.
The concept of the brand "Maurizio Miri" has a strong personality and a clear intent: to create a product that stimulates the wearer towards beauty.
A garment should not simply be worn, but it has also to create a perfect symbiosis with the person wearing it and generate an exchange of positive energies. The purpose is to make the individual feel in perfect harmony with their own image.

STYLE
The style is a matter of research. A research that starts from the observation of the reality and tries to reach the soul. The aim of my job is to create garments that reflect this inner work and convey emotions.
To achieve this goal I always put my creative touch into play to and get down to the very essence, relying on the skills of top-level technicians and designers, high-quality fabrics and handcrafted accessories.
The result is a sober and simple style, which eliminates all frills and creates a perfect harmony between fabrics, cuts and accessories in order to celebrate the beauty in its simplicity.
In fact, if it's true that what is beautiful is not always also simple, on the contrary what is simple is always beautiful. That is exactly what I try to express with the essential and harmonious designs of my style. This is not a fashion requirement, but a core point of my message.
